Students of the Week 1.27

Students are nominated by a teacher based on an action that correlates with the six C’s: college, courage, career, citizenship, culture and creativity.

On Friday Jan. 27, freshman Corrine Morgan, junior Steven Gjorgloski and senior Nathan Couwenhoven were nominated for Student of the Week.

Morgan and Gjorgloski were both nominated by science teacher Mindy Pearson for college.

“I nominated both of them because they are extremely hardworking students who always give 110% effort,” Pearson said.

Couwenhoven was also nominated for college by art teacher Lyndsey Harris.

“I nominated Nathan because he earned a scholarship for the Art Institute in Chicago for $40,000,” Harris said.
