CPTV Newscast 5/22/20

This week on CPTV: the staff of CPTV celebrates the final newscast of the 2019-2020 school year amid the Covid-19 quarantine while preparing, recording and assembling the entire newscast at their individual homes. Via Zoom interviews, social distancing and limited access to school equipment, the staff discovers the CPCSC’s hopeful plans for a delayed, modified graduation ceremony, the perceived effectiveness of e-Learning, Indiana’s “Back on Track” plan, the closing (then selling) of Indiana Beach Amusement Park, how the community of CP is attempting to stay together while apart and finally, how Covid-19 is affecting our beloved world of sports. All of this brought to you by the award winning staff of CPTV, who this year was named the 2020 Best Newscast by the Indiana Association of School Broadcasters, the Midwest Media Educators Association and the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Chicago/Midwest Chapter.
